Andersen Valley

Artisan Winery

With the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Europe “D-Day” happening this year, we have called an “all hands on deck” to create a commemorative label celebrating “The Greatest Generation”.

Our wine was on board “D-Day Doll” as she returned to Europe for the second time in 75 years to join hundreds of other aircraft in a crossing of the English Channel and a celebration in Paris! To the greatest generation and those sons and daughters we salute you!

Award Winning

Established in 1984, founder John Andersen strived to create outstanding limited run red wines that rivaled those of the Central Coast and Napa using grapes sourced from Temecula Valley.

We have made progress toward this goal through our award winning “EVO” Cabernet Sauvignon that has won both a Bronze and a Gold medal in the Wine Maker Magazines “International Wine Competition”.

The Perfect Environment

Located in East San Diego County, Blossom Valley known for its unique high valley micro climate and moderate temperatures provides the perfect environment for fermentation aging, and bottling of our delightful wines. The moderate San Diego temperatures and the use of solar panels for power limit the impact of producing our wine on the world around us.

Our grapes are sourced from well-known growers in Temecula, Murrieta, and the Central Coast selecting only varietals that thrive in their particular regions.

We closely manage and nurture our wines from primary through secondary fermentation and onto bottling in our temperature controlled facility. We use our French, American or Hungarian oak barrels for only two seasons in order to maintain the consistency of the wine.

Limited Quantities

With yearly production limited to fewer than 100 cases, we have limited distribution and prefer to deal on a wholesale level to select retailers. We do not have a tasting room or wine club and are not open to the public.
